I am so proud of this book–It’s a happy, happy day! When I finished writing, in February of 2019, I told the publisher they could call it “Everything Lori Kennedy Knows About Machine Quilting”! (I’ve learned a bit since then, so maybe I have a fourth book in me–lol!)
Motif Books
My first two books are primarily motif books. Free Motion Machine Quilting 1-2-3 and More Free Motion Machine Quilting 1-2-3 include step-by-step tutorials for more than 60 motifs in each book. Both books include chapters on machine set-up and other helpful tips, but my new book goes in depth on 25 quilting topics.
The Answer Book
YOU were my inspiration! When writing this book, I relied heavily on questions YOU ask here at LKQ. The book includes 25 chapters answering all those little questions and dilemmas that hold us back from finishing our quilts!
Hands-On Learning
25 Days to Better Machine Quilting is a hands-on approach to learning free motion quilting.
Each chapter covers a topic in-depth and then provides a small project to illustrate and practice the new skill.
The projects are fun and cute-cute-cute!
With each new skill you gain, you’ll be more confident about stitching YOUR quilts!
25 Lessons/25 Weeks
Each lesson and the accompanying project are designed to be completed in an afternoon. Starting in June, we will work on the projects together, completing one or two lessons per week. (Like a college course in machine quilting!) While many of the concepts are simple, the BEST way to learn is hands-on. I hope YOU will join in!
