I live near Philadelphia and many of the downtown high rises are flooded in pink lights as a reminder to schedule a mammogram.

Pretty in Pink! Got my mammogram on Monday, Oct. 23. Our quilt guild raffles off a quilt each year and donates the money to a local agency that helps fund low cost mammograms. Early detection is the BEST medicine!

It happens fast and can happen to anyone, so be proactive in prevention

have had two scares–each time was a cyst. first one 20 years ago so surgical biopsy, last one recently and they were able to diagnose with an ultrasound. Both picked up with a mammogram. In Ontario, Canada they send reminder notices of when you need one. Don’t ignore doing it.
