Lori Kennedy Quilts, Halloween MotifsGood Morning, Quilters!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!  I have such happy memories of trick or treating as a child and when my kids were younger!  I LOVE to all the motif possibilities too!

Okay…I LOVE candy!  Especially Tootsie Rolls, Smarties, Licorice, Mounds Bars, Snickers, Milk Duds….

It’s better to keep my hands busy quilting!

Here is a round-up of Halloween motifs we’ve worked on over the last several years

Grab a caramel apple, turn on Arsenic and Old Lace, and treat yourself to a little doodling and quilting!

The Spider Web

The Spooky Spider

Candy Corn

The Spooky Bat-A Machine Quilting Tutorial

Jack-o-Lantern

The Perfect Pumpkin

Sweet Candy

May YOUR Halloween be Spooky (but not too spooky)!

I’ve been meaning to let you know that I have recorded and watched your series on Sewing With Nancy (more than once). I have been watching her for over 30 years and am so sad that she is terminally ill. I am glad my two favorite people were on the same show. It was great watching you in action. You make it all look so easy. Thanks for sharing your expertise.

Thank you for your blog and free tutorials. I have taken my quilting to the next level which was on the machine. Your blog was very helpful and I am now hooked.

Mmmmm….I love Smarties!! Unfortunately, though, I tend to pop about half the package in my mouth at one time.

  • The Sweet Candy would work on a Christmas quilt also. Thank you
