I think my free motion quilting has made it into the intermediate stage and machine applique is advanced. I started using Sulky embroidery thread for machine embroidery then started using it for machine applique and quilting. It’s my go-to thread for all my decorative sewing. My machine and I both love it!

I am a newbie aka beginner at free motion quilting as well as appliqué. I started embroidering last June and found out quickly how much my machine loves Sulky thread…funny to think about a machine loving a thread…but it does…it just performs better using it.

I love Sulky thread, I have been collecting it for several years! I consider myself am intermediate free motion quilter. I continue to improve with practice. People tell me I underestimate my free motion ability. I look at other peoples work and I wish one day I could be as good as they are. I consider myself intermediate at machine applique. I do a lot of raw edge applique. I love that it is so easy to match my fabric with sulky thread.
