Good Morning, Quilters!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Statistics show that 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime…that means that 1250 of The Inbox Jaunt’s 10,000 followers will face breast cancer!
The best way to fight breast cancer is to have a plan that helps you detect breast cancer in its early stages.

I’m a breast cancer survivor, and a very fortunate one at that. Early detection that I found myself. Please, ladies, get your mammies grammed and do your self exams routinely.

I am a quilter and I also crochet. I crochet pink ribbon prayer squares that i give to people I know who are going through treatment or have had breast cancer. I’ve also made some pink quilts, and have some in the works, so can use the thread. Thanks for the chance to win.

Need to remember that men can have breast cancer also.
Linda
Although the majority of its victims are women, breast cancer also can strike men. We ladies need to continue our own regime for early detection – and to encourage the men that we love to do the same. We can be “pretty in pink,” and can help to keep the men we love “in the pink,” too!
