Pretty in Pink!!! My mammogram career has been long and distinguished. Fortunately, no major problems. I am grateful for all the research and technical advances in equipment that help find the problems.

Thank you Lori for helping to spread the word about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. I am a retired Nurse Practitioner and regularly lead teams for “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.” I made an opportunity quilt each year that helped our teams raise thousands of dollars for the cause! I am in awe of your efforts to improve our health in so many ways – you are amazing!!

Lori, as always, you put the Pretty into the Pink with your enthusiasm! I get a lot of emails, but I ALWAYS make sure to read yours, as there is something that is related to my day in them and today is no exception. I just made my yearly appointment for my mammogram, right before I read my emails! Pink has been my favorite color as long as I can remember! Your sampler above just makes it all more beautiful and THANK YOU for the give away, as well as Sulky! And as Audrey Hepburn said: “I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.”
Let’s all believe in Pretty in Pink!

Don’t let your doctor say you’re “too old” to need a mammogram! The older you are the more chance you have of developing breast cancer! Get those mammies!

My cousin was given less than 5% chance of survival. She beat those odds! I am a lover of all things pink because it is the color that represents beating the disease that has ravished women’s body far too long. Pretty in Pink is a wonderful tribute to women. Thank you.
Carol

I lost my mom 11 years ago. She did not go to doctors. She was embarrassed about her weight. When it was found the cancer was every where, including her brain. Ladies don’t put off those mammograms, PLEASE! Thank you for supporting the cause!!
