Pretty in Pink! That phrase evokes so many memories & some mixed emotions: 1) several friends who have had to deal with breast cancer; 2) the sweet movie of the same title; my own teen dance wearing a pink cocktail dress, which I also wore to our Girl’s Chorus spring concert; and my new totally adorable twin great-grand-daughters, born several months ago. I’m sure I could put any pink threads to good use! It’s always a favorite, no matter the shade!

There are so many women who either know someone who has or had breast cancer or have or had it themselves that it is overwhelming to think about. Some families seem to really be hit by it. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and doing the give-away also.

Love the quilting. Pretty in Pink.

  • Janice Henson

Love pink of any color. I had a dear friend die from breast cancer even though she had all the scans each year. More research is needed for those that have the rare forms. Right now 5 year survival rate is all they have and it isn’t a good 5 years after doing all the things they have to do to live longer. Would love any thing in pink.

  • Michele Ward

Early detection is key! My mother, sister, aunt and two cousins had breast cancer. My aunt, sister and cousins caught it early! Pretty in Pink!

  • Pink is Beautiful…especially with brown….or black….or grey….or….well….just about any other other! I associate the color pink with breast cancer awareness. Thank you for the chance to win….

  • Pretty in Pink! Courage to all those fighting this horrid disease.
