Good Morning, Quilters!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Statistics show that 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime…that means that 1250 of The Inbox Jaunt’s 10,000 followers will face breast cancer!
The best way to fight breast cancer is to have a plan that helps you detect breast cancer in its early stages.

I lost a dear friend to breast cancer. It was the kind that kept recurring and morphing. I would not want anyone else to go through that.

Thank you Lori for all the links. This will undoubtedly lead to the detection of someone’s cancer. Maybe not a reader but a family member, maybe not this year but next year. You will have helped someone.
The ribbon is quite lovely. Again thank you.

In my circle of 11 close friends, 2 of the “girls” have been stricken & beaten breast cancer. It’s scarey to think that we’re higher than the average rate of 1 in 8 but encouraging & empowering to know that breast cancer can be beaten! Both of them caught it early.

My grandmother, aunt and mother in law battled breast cancer. My mother in law didn’t win her battle. It is a horrible, life threatening disease that I so wish could be cured. I click on the Breastcancersite.com everyday to help fund mammograms to underprivileged women. It would be fantastic if even half your followers would do the same! Thank you for running the give away but most importantly for adding info about breast cancer to your site! And we are ALL Pretty in Pink.

Early detection is so very important! Please, everyone, have a mammogram now if you’ve not yet this year! Often, many hospitals offer free/reduced fee mammos during the month of October-check with your local hospitals if you don’t have insurance coverage for a mammogram. 😉
