So glad you posted this. I love her illustrations. Always sought out children’s books to read to my daughter featuring JWS as the illustrator. That was many years ago and so good to remember those days and a wonderful artist as well.
This is such a precious illustration. She has captured the rapt concentration of the child as well her innocent beauty.
Very sweet. Right down to the teeny tiny spool of thread.
I think I’m attracted to illustration more than to fine art. I really enjoyed reading about Jessica. Thank you for sharing this.
