    Ahhhh. Crocus, or pasque flower, to be more proper. Brings back memories of my dad who was a rural letter carrier in ND. Every spring when these bloomed, he’d pick a bunch and leave some in the mailbox of all of his patrons. They loved it. He’s been gone for almost a dozen years and he was retired for at least a dozen before that, but if I go back to my home town and run into any of them, it’s almost always something they bring up.
