Silent Sunday
Sparks a trip down memory lane…Lord, thank you for a healthy childhood in spite of the measles, mumps and chicken pox. I always had my little red rubber car to take to bed with me..And thank you for the 6 new goldfinches at our birdfeeder in the morning rain…
That’s so cute–the thought of you in bed with a car! (I haven’t seen any finches yet…still snow on the ground, but it’s supposed to get warm this week!)
Even at preschool age, I was champing at the bit to drive a car ! LOL
Blast from the past! Just a few of the wonderful things from the 50s & 60s!
I love the colors and the way they displayed them!
Had that globe forever.
Isn’t that funny!? Don’t you wish you still had it?
Hmmm… Corinne?..Cookie? That is what I wanted to name my new baby sister about 48 years ago LOL..Parents declined my suggestion tho..LOL..
Marta, You are hilarious! My favorite guess so far is “Cookie”!
BTW..Lady Crawley, .the Lori Cora was tongue in cheek..hope your Mom didn’t mind..:) Blessings, Marta
Of course she didn’t mind. I think I will call myself Lady Crawley…I just wish I had Cora’s dresses and hats to go with my title!
OOps wrote that on wrong date.. sorry..:)
I have that globe, still! 🙂
Wonderful trip down the childhood memory lane!
