I love sunflowers! We live in Kansas. It is an annual tradition that over the course of the sunflower blooming season that hundreds of people travel to Grinter’s Farm, East of Lawrence. Here you are permitted to freely walk among 3-4 hundred acres of sunflowers. Some people go to cut & buy a bouquet of sunflowers….many go for stunning photograph opportunities……ALL of us go for the beauty!! I’m so thankful that the Grinter family continues to provide this opportunity to the public!

Tournesol, Girasol, Girasole … Turn with the Sun — whatever you call them, they’re some of the happiest-making plants in the world. There’s nothing so enjoyable as a whole field of sunflowers in their full glory

Flowers give us so much joy! Looking at this photo there are so many shades of yellow, red, burnt orange, black, and grays. Lovely shades to behold! Thank you for this photo Lori !
