Love Silent Sunday
Thank you! I haven’t seen a Kildeer for years………
Beautiful!
Hey Cutie ! You are welcome to try our lake too !!
Gorgeous picture of a killdeer! They haven’t returned to BC yet but will soon be here. Is this your own picture?
I have a children’s book of Bird Calls by Innovative Kids here at the house for the granddaughters. They love it. One of the birds is a Killdeer, I must admit I am not familiar with that bird. When I saw today’s post I had to go find the book and listen to the Killdeer call, and read the bird facts. Here’s the clue given:
“I look like a stone
hidden on the ground
and can fool you
to keep my babies safe.”
Thank you, Lori, for expanding my avian knowledge and for adding to a peaceful Sunday during this time of distress. God bless…
This is the first time I’ve ever seen a Kildeer. Nature creates such exquisite beauty.
Beautiful bird. Thank you kindly for your photos and quilting inspirations
