Lori, you know I love you and the blog !! However, I want to say something. I only receive the posts from Lori Kennedy Quilts about twice a week. And then there are two copies at once. This has been going on for couple months and I really miss the daily posts. Please inform me as to a new schedule for your posts..if there is one! LOL I don’t mind but I would prefer to know what is going on. Thank you for shedding any light on my situation !! Love Marta

      Hi Marta!
I have been unable to blog as s much this year–and that is why you only notice two or three posts per week. Unfortunately after a great deal of ongoing effort we have been unable to figure out why two email notifications are sent occasionally! Thank you for your patience!
      Lori

: ) Ok, so I won’t ask my provider tech to sleuth the problem ! There have been other weird things with our system which they said is due to our being in a very rural area with only one connection system available. At times the road scrapers dig up the cables, too ! Benefit of a red clay roadway! LOL That is fine that you write only as often as you do. I am relieved to know it is not my system refusing to receive. Whew! The tech had recently up’ed my rate of Spam blocker.

Oh, and another note…I was looking thru a new coffee table book (over 200 pages) published by the family of a local lady who taught art locally and painted prolifically ..local scenes mostly. I had known her before she left the world at a late age. Then there in the book
was a painting of…Italy! It was thrilling because it looked like she had painted one of your photographs !! I took a photo of the page and then had an attack of “did I violate copyright” !! I just wanted to show
the image to you..It is someplace in my cell phone….
        Blessings..

How cool is that! Italy is beautiful–I can see why she painted it!

The mock ups in the photo today are amazing..My mom was a seamstress during her life. She would be so tickled to have seen these Diors. I have her “body form” she and daddy made. She stood still for it and he wrapped glue soaked strips of brown paper over wax paper all over her torso. Then she had to wait for it to dry before he could cut it off her. It hangs in my closet with one of her blouses on it. She used it for years to fit clothes on as she sewed. My sister and I got the biggest kick watching the process. Actually it was a process full of family laughter. I think I was about 10 years old.
