Very nice! Saw your post on We-all-Sew, “Nora’s Rose .” been having lots of fun playing with that motif.. Thank you for all you do.😊
Beautiful!
I enjoy watching pelicans although according to my dnr son-in-law they are a very dirty bird!! Oh well they are fun to watch!
Great photo Lori! I do love watching these birds when I have the chance.
So elegant when gliding through the air … so ungainly as they come in to land. It’s like they just got their wings yesterday and don’t quite know how to fold them up.
I’ve often thought the pelican would have been a much better choice for a baby-delivery bird. Babies delivered swinging in a diaper on the end of a stork’s pointy beak seem so perilous. But delivered in a warm pelican’s gullet, out of the wind and rain, make so much more sense. Of course the babe would have a bit of pelican spit on it, but I’m sure the parents wouldn’t mind. 😉
Magnificent photo; is the bird landing or taking off?
Your photography is always exquisite.
Love it! Looks like Florida!
Beautiful!
Thanks for Silent Sunday posts!

A strange bird is the pelican; His beak can hold more than his belly can…:)
