They are still warm from the nest
Reminds me of collecting the eggs when I was growing up….sweet memories
We buy eggs that look just like that from a local farmer and they are so good. The yokes are orange! What a beautiful picture, Lori.

Beautiful…..love the shadows. (My grandfather had 40,000 laying hens; never saw eggs this beautiful however! )
Such a nice picture. It takes me back to when I was a girl gathering eggs with my grandmother. She had a special basket for them. These are thoughts of peaceful times. I still love buying the beautiful brown eggs. Thank you for sharing.
Memories of gathering the eggs on the farm hoping the hen wouldn’t peck me. Was such a calmer life then!!
