Silent Sunday
I always look forward to your silent Sundays. You have a nice variety.
A sight often seen in old mining areas. Nostalgia sets in and you can envision what the area may have looked like in your ancestors day, busy trains carrying the coal, iron ore or what have you out to the plants to be processed. My forbearers were copper miners and seeing the company built towns now is so sad to me.
your photo says CALM to me and take time to go for a walk.
Oh, to be a kid again, even for a little while…
Aaahhhhhhhhhh????
This view is reminiscent of fall walks on the Ohio Canal Towpath trails in NE Ohio. It invites both contemplation and exploration, much as with a good quilt. Thanks for the weekly slow-down.
It’s a shame to see so many of these disappearing ???? Thanks for a lovely picture.
Thank you for a meditative reflection after a truly horrific week
Amen, Gerris….blessings to you.
Rails to trails. A time to pause and reflect, get some fresh air in the lungs and cobwebs out of the brain. There are rail lines here that are up for the “trails” recycling, and I have a hard time understanding why adjacent land owners are so opposed.
Lovely scene. You have a definite artist’s brain. This scene is so inviting and nostalgic. Thank you!
Thank you!
