After moving to NC, I discovered that I love to look at those fields with round bales of fresh cut hay. I am not sure what attracts me to them but I always stare as I come by such a field. That’s a lovely photo of a round bale field with the sun just barely above the trees and the morning mist hovering over it all. Did you take this photo in the NC mountains by any chance when you were at the Campbell Folk school?
Oh… how lovely and peaceful.. Here is south GA there is low fog this morning over the lake and the cattle in the pasture beyond. The brilliant Harvest Moon is still up in the sky and being very smiley, I might add. You just can’t help but have joy at these wonders.

I’ve taken many a picture of pastures with round bales with fog but, I can say yours is so much more beautiful.
