Sewing Doodles

February 19, 2015

Sewing. Free motion Quilt doodlesBetter Late than Never?

I know this is unusually late to add a posting…

I have been working away on some exciting new projects.  I CAN’T WAIT to tell you about them…

But I have to be patient…(not my strong suit!)

In the mean time,  what do you think of the new banner?

Hope your day is filled with excitement!

Lori

I love it, Lori! These are amazing doodles! I’m doing your mystery quilt along and am learning so much. There was a time (not too long ago either) that the only thing I noticed about thread was it’s color. Thanks for letting me know there is soooo much more!

I love the new banner. I am making a quilt with some fabrics that have needles, pin cushions, sewing machines and other sewing items. I used your thread pattern to quilt some of the setting strips. I am going to try to incorporate your pin cushion and needles somewhere. fun stuff. thanks

I think this is my favorite banner so far…but would change the color to that beautiful deep blue you use or the kelly green…..hmmmm…maybe purple…..Thanks for sharing….I think I may need to doodle this out myself for a sewing room banner….or maybe quilted valances for the sewing room! Blessings…

Hi, Lori! I live in Ururuguay and am following you since last year.
I love hand quilting, which I’ve been doing for the last 4 years, but machine quilting is a big challenge for me and I didn’t even dare to try to do it until now.

I am practicing to write with my machine and I like it a lot (a friend of mine – Cecilia Koppmann, from Argentina, http://www.patchworkycia.blogspot.com – taught me)

Now I’ll try some of your designs for beginners.

    Cheers!
    Blanqui 🙂

So glad to have you here! Welcome! Is hand quilting more popular in Uruguay? I know it is in most of Europe.
