Sewing. Free motion Quilt doodlesBetter Late than Never?

I know this is unusually late to add a posting…

I have been working away on some exciting new projects.  I CAN’T WAIT to tell you about them…

But I have to be patient…(not my strong suit!)

In the mean time,  what do you think of the new banner?

Hope your day is filled with excitement!

    I love all you do!!

  • Hi, Lori! I live in Ururuguay and am following you since last year.
I love hand quilting, which I’ve been doing for the last 4 years, but machine quilting is a big challenge for me and I didn’t even dare to try to do it until now.

I am practicing to write with my machine and I like it a lot (a friend of mine – Cecilia Koppmann, from Argentina, http://www.patchworkycia.blogspot.com – taught me)

Now I’ll try some of your designs for beginners.

    Cheers!
    Blanqui 🙂

So glad to have you here! Welcome! Is hand quilting more popular in Uruguay? I know it is in most of Europe.

Lori, Thanks for your help with my Bernina questions. Do you use your various Berninas for different tasks? Could you please share how and why?
    Thanks!

  • I think this is my favorite banner so far…but would change the color to that beautiful deep blue you use or the kelly green…..hmmmm…maybe purple…..Thanks for sharing….I think I may need to doodle this out myself for a sewing room banner….or maybe quilted valances for the sewing room! Blessings…

  • I love the new banner. I am making a quilt with some fabrics that have needles, pin cushions, sewing machines and other sewing items. I used your thread pattern to quilt some of the setting strips. I am going to try to incorporate your pin cushion and needles somewhere. fun stuff. thanks
