Thank you Lori! Just so you know, I always dress like this when I’m stitching! Actually, that painting has a ton of humor in it…….as the gal is sitting with her unlaced corset and petticoats!!!! So gorgeous!!!!! Looks like she is fixing it before she can wear it! Yes, been there done it several times. This reminds me of the advertisements that show housewives (I prefer to think of myself as a homemaker!) mopping the floors in their high heels! I love the picture and appreciate so much these Saturday features. Just beautiful… reminds me of my grandmother and her treadle sewing machine. Of course, she had an entirely different figure! LOL Thanks for sharing these photos–I look forward to them each weekend. It must have been that extra scone. Now she has to take out some seams. I love this lighting in this painting Hilarious!
