The colors and sheen in the fabric are just fabulous. Thank you Lori for sharing this.
very pretty!
I so enjoy these posts. Isn’t that red dress just lovely? Seems like I could reach out and touch it!
Lovely. Thank you for sharing your talent with us throughout the year. Best wishes for a wonderful New Year.
Happy New Year, Lori.
Thank you for your enthusiasm and sharing your skills!
Luminescent … the only word that suits. What an evening those ladies had ahead of them. Might it have been a New Year’s Eve Ball? Old world charm and pure joy. Happy New Year, everyone.
What a beautiful painting. I can hear the dresses rustling as they walk. Reminds me of when things were simpler.
Lovely, if one listens we can hear are soft giggles, oohs & aah’s, & wondering “what ifs.” Love the simplicity as Mary B. remarked. Ladies, do You remember those taffeta dresses that were so noisy when one walked they made their own music?
Happy New Year to Lori & her Army of FMQ.
Just imagine the ability to paint such iridescence on canvas, the light and the depth are just amazing. Thanks for sharing a long lost moment in time.
Another beauty! Thank you for sharing and expanding my ‘fine art’ enjoyment.
Thank you so much for all the beautiful paintings you’ve shown us over the year!!
I wish you and your loved ones a very Happy, Healthy and Successful 2017!
Oh, how beautiful…. took my breath away! How talented he is with fabric and light. And to see his other paintings, he was not leery of using mirrors in his art. Having been able to attend some museums in the past and seeing art after having seen it in books, I would love to see his work in person..The ballerinas of Degas are sooo exquisite in person. I just know this painting would surpass it. Lori, a big hit again… thank you so much.
Beautiful!
love the color combination
I so enjoy your blog and learn so much! A very Happy New Year to you from snowy Ottawa, Canada!
This is an AMAZING painting!
