    Very lovely…pleasant ..simpler design than others of his. I got tickled when I saw her black socks/stockings above what looks like tennis shoes. The Wikipedia photo of him and his wife makes me wonder whether they were of ” the beautiful people” of their era and group of artists. He must have been a sentimental man as I feel that from his subjects of family and domesticity.

      Thanks for pointing those details out. I will study the artist a little later today but my first thought was you sure don’t see this at our beaches today! ? We live on an island and love our beaches. At times I would like people to wear a bit more clothing but this much isn’t necessary. ?The painting does give a very peaceful feel.
