    Beautiful. Look at the sweetness, the upturned nose, the chubby fingers , the lovely pastels in her skirt. Serenely sewing. I love Renoirs works.

    It looks to me as if she is expecting a child. And sometimes pregnant ladies break out on the face with rosacea.. Renoir might have challenged himself to portray that. Then again maybe it is hot weather. Or maybe she is sunburned like we sustained yesterday here is south Georgia. His rendition of fabric is so cozy and comfortable. I love it !!
