Love the beautiful rich colours in this painting. What a stunning picture of a woman performing a daily routine. Don’t you just love the colors? Wonderful color palate. He really captured the essence of this woman as she searches for an item in her sewing box. I noticed her ankles and feet — how they’re slightly swollen, as they would be if she sat sewing for most of her day, And the apron that she wore was more like a pinafore (if that isn’t actually what it is). The colors in the fabric are a wonderful contrast to her dark dress. I don’t know where you find all of these great works of art, but I do appreciate seeing them! Thank you! Very pretty painting. I love this one. Thanks for finding and sharing, Lori. Happy chilly windy week-end Oh, the colours. He did play with color!!! Dead at 49!!! Yikes!!! Love this one!!!! Comments are closed.
