I SO look forward to the seamstresses in fine art posts. Thank you! Thank you – I wonder if the subjects were wife and daughter as they appear often in his work. Again almost like photographs – such fine detail in the faces of some. A teaching moment…… beautiful detail Adorable painting. Of course my very first thought was, Hugging and Sewing, what a great combination This is very sweet to look at. I thought automatically ‘older sister’. There are several family pictures floating among my relatives with my older sister just like that with her arm around my neck. Lori, I too, so enjoy these seamstress posts; they give my imagination free reign & I do love the trips! Thank you ever so much. Almost “photographic realism” paintings. Have to say that I love this style ever so much. Comments are closed.
