    Beautiful painting. That said, in my mind/view, this is more realism than impressionism.

    Dear Lori, thoroughly enjoy your blog. I have recently purchased a Hand I Quilter Sweet 16 machine. I am looking for a way to quilt a round tree skirt with a pointed medallion barbell pattern . The fabrics are red, green and white with small candy canes. Any suggestions for quilting this project? Keep in mind I am just BEGINNING to learn how to quilt. I have been using my domestic machine and this has always been my least favorite part of the process. I am liking it more now with the ease the Sweet 16 provides. Thank you
