I made a Minions quilt back in September.
http://quilti.com/how-to-make-a-minion-quilt/
That’s a very happy quilt!
Cute quilt, love the quilting you did too.
I did a test on 6 different kids of fusibles: http://websterquilt.blogspot.com/2016/01/fusible-test.html
What a great idea. I usually use Steam a Seam II too but I’m trying the Soft Fuse on flannel as recommended with the Purrfectly Pieced kit I got from Santa this year. I’ll be interested in the further results of your testing:)
Thank you for this. I use a lot of fusibles and always interested in hearing what others have to say or what is their favorite.
There will be one about quilting around the fusible tomorrow 🙂
Thanks for the info!
Suzy ~ Great info….so helpful! I’m a novice to all things *quilting*….and so I very much appreciate this type of information. ***smiles***
Glad to be of help 🙂

Hi. I love applique and love your 2016 BOM.
What a great world quilt and idea! Love that your patterns are FREE for the first month!
Never thought I’d do a BOM, but I think this is the one! Thank you!
Wow. Two great topics?

Great Directions!
My poor little blog hasn’t seen much of me lately. I’m in a slump right now. But here is a link if anyone is interested. I have lots of tutorials, this is my most popular blog post.
http://mtnmommy2.blogspot.com/2011/07/lone-star-tutorial.html
Thank you Lori, have a great time on your trip.
That is a very helpful lonestar tutorial. I’m going to check out your other tuts too:)
LOL. My top post, ever, does have to do with sewing, but that’s not why it’s popular: http://craftscaviescontras.blogspot.com/2011/08/guinea-pig-hammocks.html
Because… guinea pigs. As is most of my popular posts (can you tell where a chunk of my readership lies?)
However, my recent popular post is on baskets I’ve been making: http://craftscaviescontras.blogspot.com/2016/01/a-bunch-of-baskets.html No guinea pigs involved. 🙂
On my blog most viewed post is this about Route 66 🙂 http://work-with-patches.blogspot.com/2015/05/route-66-quilt-flag.html
Greetings form Poland
Kamila
I loved your post on your wonderful Rt 66 flag. I also enjoyed seeing all the projects you finished in 2015:)
I use my blog, http://lauraluvsloons.blogspot.com , as my quilting journal. Currently I’m doing the Leah Day Heart and Feather WholeCloth challenge and finishing some UFO’s with the 2016 Finish Along.
I use a lot of Lori’s quilting motifs in my quilting. I especially enjoyed quilting the pumpkin this fall (it was Lori’s month on Quiltshopgal’s FMQ challenge). Here’s the link to that post on my blog. http://lauraluvsloons.blogspot.com/2015/10/october-challenge-for-quiltshopgal-fmq.html

I live in Saskatchewan Canada and follow a beautiful long arm quilter from Alberta. Her web site is kathleenquilts.com. . She shows how she quilts different quilts with diagrams.
I have a mostly quilting and sewing blog (I’ve been making purses as well), with some photography and travel from time to time. http://www.suehecker.com/blog
Hi Sue! I started following you. Your quilts and purses are great, and your photography is wonderful. I live in Woodbury, MN, but I don’t blog.
Of course, it would be your guest tutorial in the 2015 Free-Motion Quilting Challenge: http://quiltshopgal.com/2015-free-motion-quilting-challenge-october-challenge-with-lori-kennedy-of-the-inbox-jaunt/

I am gaining a lot of experience with this technique now – using it daily for my Quilty365 circle blocks!
Heidi . . . your tutorials look FAB and easy to follow. Much thanks. LOVE the heart. ***smiles***
I need some serious quilting time but in the meantime I have been doing some piecing on another project. Here is the link http://cynthiasark.blogspot.com.au/2016/01/allietare-mystery-quilt-7.html
Love your colors.
Hello. I blog at A Quilting Reader’s Garden. One of my popular posts is at http://quiltingreadersgarden.blogspot.com/2015/10/wips-be-gone-week-42.html
Lori, look forward to hearing about your adventure.
Here’s a good one from my blog. It includes a mini tutorial for sewing Drunkards Path blocks:
https://quiltsbyjoyce.wordpress.com/2013/03/10/autumn-drunkards-path/
Was the wonder under 805? Frieda Anderson was just at our guild and uses this. I understand stiffer, but how is the adhesion, and the applique edges?
Thank you for the opportunity to share. My most popular tutorial is on borders and why it is important to do them correctly by measuring – https://frommycarolinahome.wordpress.com/2014/02/09/quilt-borders-tutorial-understanding-the-why/
Then the four part series on binding, starting with this post – https://frommycarolinahome.wordpress.com/2014/04/19/quilt-binding-tutorial-part-1-making-bias-binding/
I have a page for all my tutorials on quilting at –
https://frommycarolinahome.wordpress.com/quilt-tutorials/
Plus there are project tutorial pages for sewing, crafting and quilting.
Precision = Quality . . . and your tutorials show me how! Much, much thanks, Carole! ***smiles***
Anybody ever done FMQ on flannel or fleece? easy peasy or never mind? thanks…
I’m a total novice at quilting…finished up my first ever quilt….backed with flannel…did some “light” FMQ…did fine for me. Hope this helps! ***smiles***
You have encouraged me to try it !! Thanks
FYI – Marta….not sure if you’ve read anything about the shrinkage of flannel…but I did prewash my flannel. Quilt hasn’t been washed yet…so cannot report how it turned out. I wish you the best!!!
Thanks for mentioning that. Actually I am one who washes all my fabrics ! I love seeing my potential quilts flying in the breeze
on the line on our front porch. Yes, we live in very rural area. 🙂
Would love to see your quilt. However, I don’t sign up for sites that require my birth date thus miss seeing lots of photos.
Hey again, Marta. I totes understand your concern about sharing any personal info with websites….wise decision! Not sure if you can view CRAFTSY class posts….but I recently took Lori Kennedy’s class after finding her here @ TheInBoxJaunt. Have posted my quilt there. Here’s a link (not sure it works in this blog or not)…but maybe you can get a look-see. Have posted 6 photos…some work-in-progress ones. http://www.craftsy.com/project/view/1st-quilt-for-1st-great-grand-baby/334962?_ct=cucruh-xecu-dejyv-jef-dql-sbysa&_ctp=YOUR_PROJECT%24334962
The link worked fine. Thanks.. Your quilt is exquisite, the baby will be blessed. I looked at it first after clicking on the link. Then I went back and signed in to Craftsy with my name/password etc. I thought that would enable me to comment there. Well, I clicked all over the site but never found your place again. However, it is easily reached here.
Thanks for sharing. You will be doing great work in the future too, I have no doubt. 🙂
I made an awesome cover for my sewing chair! http://pamelaquilts.blogspot.com/2013/04/sensational-selvage-slip-cover-for.html
It IS awesome!
