I featured this pincushion in my guild’s newsletter last month, I’m the editor 🙂 We are going to have a show and tell of our pumpkins this month at our meeting. It is super easy and you can get many out of a couple of fat qtrs.

I have a really old post here on making fabric pumpkins. http://atypicalife.net/blog/2008/10/17/how-to-make-fabric-pumpkins/

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I wasn’t able to access this.

I made 100 little pumpkins and 11 large ones for my son’s wedding which is this Thursday. I’d love to add a picture but don’t know how. You’d think I’d be pumpkined out but I still love them. Looking forward to seeing the results of your day.

How large a circle are you using? (I don’t have the ruler in the tutorial.)

I think it’s about six inches. ( I didn’t use that ruler either.)

I sewed one of these to take along to my Monday sewing group. One of the gals thought it would be “easier” to sew two Hourglass blocks and then cut the circles from them You’d be surprised at how many ways there are to sew quarter-square triangles incorrectly! We had a lot of fun, though!
