I sewed one of these to take along to my Monday sewing group. One of the gals thought it would be “easier” to sew two Hourglass blocks and then cut the circles from them You’d be surprised at how many ways there are to sew quarter-square triangles incorrectly! We had a lot of fun, though!

How large a circle are you using? (I don’t have the ruler in the tutorial.)

I have a huge box of Halloween and Fall fabrics. Need to make some of these today. Too cute!

I made 100 little pumpkins and 11 large ones for my son’s wedding which is this Thursday. I’d love to add a picture but don’t know how. You’d think I’d be pumpkined out but I still love them. Looking forward to seeing the results of your day.

I agree about the pincushion addiction! Thanks for sharing this quick, timely project. I’m going to make one of these today!

I know what little project I will be working on this evening! Thanks, Lori

  • I love pumpkins and fall, so will have to make this cute pincushion, thanks for sharing!

  • I featured this pincushion in my guild’s newsletter last month, I’m the editor 🙂 We are going to have a show and tell of our pumpkins this month at our meeting. It is super easy and you can get many out of a couple of fat qtrs.
