I would say I am intermediate at both. I do a lot of machine appliqué but there is always room for improvement. Same for free motion. I am getting better because I am giving myself permission to try new things. Practice practice practice!

Beforemy Christmas projects for my daughters, I would have said I was a beginner at both. But now, i have to say I am an intermediate at FMQ, since I quilted lovely feathers, and an intermediate machine Applique person, since I appliqued the beautiful wreaths.
