I love your blog and your work…and I’d love to win!
BTW, I am machine quilting a twin-size quilt using my walking foot — no FMQ yet on a large item. Rather than splurge on a sewing table, I am using a card table for my machine to reset on and a large 6 foot table, which is at right angles to it. I adjusted the height of the 6 foot table but placing it on blocks so that my machine with the extended platform is the same height as the 6 foot table. To make the rest of the card table the same height and have an extended platform covering the entire card table for the quilt to rest on, I used a cardboard box and covered it with a plastic bag. Then I taped the bag/box to the extended platform and the 6 foot table. So far, so good! I haven’t even needed to use my oven liner as a supreme slider yet, but those rubber coated gardening gloves sure do gripe the quilt and make it easy to move!

Hi Lori,
I’m brand new to FMQ but so far I love it! I am working on the 2nd of 3 quilts for this Christmas! Don’t think I’m going to be QUITE done with the 3rd but…we’ll see. I have a few personal days coming up so I’ll be sewing in every spare moment!
I love your blog…your work is gasp-worthy.

Lovely. Bought my first cut of Kona Cotton yesterday for use in a specific project. Bought a little extra for FMQ samplers someday. Would love to add these to my “new” stash.
