Happy St. Valentine’s Day, Quilters!
Did you know Valentine was a real saint?
Here are some (mostly) fun facts about St. Valentine.
St. Valentine is the patron saint of engaged couples, happy marriages, beekeepers and epilepsy.
St. Valentine was martyred on February 14, 269 by Emperor Claudius II for refusing to renounce his faith.
Valentine is said to have left a note for his jail keeper’s daughter and signed it “From Your Valentine”.
Wishing you all love and happiness this St. Valentine’s Day!
From YOUR Valentine,
Lori

Love your Valentine’s quilting! The red cloth with grids/hearts would be a great practice piece. Thanks for sharing your expertise and teaching.

Broke my leg and treated myself to a supreme slider and your book. Our only local long armer has stopped so I will devote myself to perfecting free motion. Your crafty class has helped as well. Thank you Lori for being my best teacher!

Hi Lori: I just saw you on tv with Nancy Zieman and it was my first introduction to you and I was hooked! You were terrific and I ordered the book. Thank you for showing me a method of free motion sewing that I can actually do! It was very inspiring. Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Barb Lebowitz
