Please celebrate with me– I have been selected to be a BERNINA Brand Ambassador!
This has been several months in the making…paperwork, phone calls, planning…
(and here’s where YOU came in…) One of the things BERNINA looked at was how many people follow The Inbox Jaunt– and how engaged they are–and of course–
We got a AAA rating for engaged readership!!
THANK YOU!
Last week I received my new BERNINA 770 QE!
BERNINA ambassadors get a beautiful new sewing machine in exchange for providing several educational tools to BERNINA each year like writing for their blog, WeAllSew, teaching, etc. (Sounds like fun to me!)
While, I’m just learning about all the bells and whistles (I’m actually excited about reading a manual-imagine that!?)…
A few things I love already: very responsive tension system, the placement of the needle down and presser foot down buttons, I LOVE the thread cutter-it cuts the bobbin thread underneath as well as on top-great for free motion quilting, and the new 97D Patchwork foot, Of course it has the same great features found on other BERNINAs-beautiful looking stitch, hands free lift system and more…
Thank you, Deb Engh and all the ladies at Bear Patch Quilting Co., White Bear Lake Minneosta,
Thank you, BERNINA,
AND…
None of this would have happened without YOU-–my very engaged readership-so THANK YOU!
In addition to learning my new sewing machine, I’m inspired to clean and reorganize my sewing studio!
Full report (and photos) to follow…

Congratulations. I’ve never owned a Bernina but I have sewed on them. Wonderful machines. I love your blog. My FMQ is slowly improving.
Maureen
Congratulations from South Africa. What would I not give to have a BSR foot, but love my old Bernina never-the-less. You enjoy that lovely machine!
Chrissy
Hooray… what wonderful news…. you deserve this! I love my Bernina too! This news has given me more encouragement to doodle and quilt more often. Thanks for your great blog
Love from South Africa!

Congrats on you new position with Bernina. I am a Bernina girl and love me 830E, 440 and Serger 1300 MDC

Congratulations! Before you forget how to use your 820, I have a question. When you free motion quilt on your 820 without the BSR, do you just select the quilting menu and lower the feed dogs? When I try this, I’m having tension problems, regardless of the tension adjustments I make.. Since most of your free motion quilting is done without the BSR, I was hoping you would have a suggestion. Is there another menu selection I need to make? Thanks.
Nadine
Congratulations from one of your fan in South Florida !

Congratulations……I love your web site, try to accomplish it but not to Good a quilter. In spite of that I still follow you. Great tutorials. Best of all to you.

Con grats – you will love this machine. I received a Bernina 750Q a year and a half ago and I love it! I still haven’t learned all of the bells and whistles, but I love that it lets me know when the bobbin is running low and I love the large bobbin. I could go on and on, but I won’t. I am really happy for you. Have fun learning your new machine.
Rose Landon
Congrats I am so happy for you. I have gotten so much from your blog, mostly get it there and try something out of my comfort zone. I know you will be an asset to Bernina!!

I can’t imagine anyone more deserving! I enjoy your blog, and appreciate your teaching style. I have shared ‘you’ several times with my quilting guild.
Marsha
Congratulations. Did you realize that in addition to promoting their product you also sold the email addresses of your followers? I am now receiving the Bernina newsletter though I never signed up for it. Guess spamming us is just part of the promotion. I’m disappointed.
WordPress.com Support
That is absolutely not true!

Bernina has NO access to my website or to my email address. Please look to another source for that
Nora
As a long time follower, I think that’s completely unfounded. I have never received an email from Bernina, not even in Junk, and still have nothing from them. As a former blogger, I also think this is a baseless accusation as bloggers don’t even have access to their followers emails– the blogging platform maintains this list for automated email sends on blog updates you have subscribed to.
More importantly– congrats, Lori!
Tavette
No one deserves this more than you and I’m glad Bernina finally took note & got you on board. Your followers are true-blue and we love and appreciate every post you send us. We learn SO much from you and your tutorials are so detailed that they make even difficult looking projects do-able.
What a beautiful green view you provided for your new Bernina. We’ll think of you sitting right there creating all kinds of wonderful things!
Congrats from S. Fla – Tavette

Congratulations, you deserve it you are doing such a wonderful job. I wouldn’t be as far as I am with FMQing if it wasn’t for you.

YAY LORI, That is awesome news. I am a Bernina convert. Always had a viking until my 750QE. When i took it in for service and went to use my Viking found out how spoiled I had gotten! Don’t want to be without my Bernina! Will you be using the embroidery module as well? Have not done much with mine.
kim
I’ll be interested to see how you adjust to having the stitch regulator, I think it is hard to switch to it if you have start free motion quilting without it. I’ll be looking to you for tips and tricks on how to adjust to my 750QE. Happy Sewing and congrats…do you know any of the other ambassadors?
WordPress.com Support
I don’t plan to use the stitch regulator. I don’t know any other ambassadors

Congrats, Lori! That is certainly exciting news and I look forward to your posts about your new Bernina.
As I am hoping to reorganize my sewing room this summer (which hasn’t been done since I got my Bernina 180 in 2001 and is looooong overdue), I also eagerly anticipate any thoughts, tips and suggestions you might share regarding fabric, supplies and tool storage, furniture arrangement, etc. Thank you in advance!
Happy quilting!
