One of the sweetest paintings I’ve ever seen. The young girl is carefully placing her doll in a chair, with another two dolls sitting in small chairs “watching” and waiting for her attention. The history was interesting and also sad. Sad for his untimely and doubtlessly agonizing death, and for the destruction of his property during WWII. Thank you for sharing this particular painting, Lori.

Merry Christmas, Lori and to all of her readers! May we all have a healthy, prosperous and peaceful New Year. God Bless America!
