Loved the Holly Berries, loved the tree, and who wouldn’t love tags, specially made by the giver? Not to mention, the snowman, the flower and all of your wonderful creations from a mind that never quits. Thank you, thank you.

Love your motifs and I recently used your poinsettia motif in a table runner in the center of a star block that turned out so pretty. Thank you so much for your inspiration, love following you. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  15. Patricia Evans says:

I too, love the poinsettia motif and wanted to use it, but gave up (yes, I did doodle it, though not a thousand times). It looked fine on paper, but not on fabric and it wasn’t going to show up anyway on the fabric I was using. Maybe someday. I love the trees in the last piece.

Especially love that last quilt with the 4 Christmas trees. Beautiful! Merry Christmas to you, Lori. I have enjoyed your posts on a regular basis. I have little to contribute but hope that 2018 will be a year of more accomplishments. I will have to put the knitting needles down for a while and get out those UFO’s and make those projects that didn’t make it in 2017!

Bought the Best Tree on the Lot panel from Westcott and was able to quilt the trees and snowmen on it. Looks great, even though I didn’t do as much detail as you. Baby steps.

    Hi Lori,
I can’t choose, as they are each so gorgeous and special. I agree in that you are quite amazing at what you can come up with for inspiration. I am totally in awe of ALL of your designs and am soooooo glad I discovered this blog when I did. I don’t get around to sewing up what you teach us, but eye candy, is eye candy!
I wish you and your family and the entire world the happiest of the holiday season, no matter how you celebrate or what your culture/orientation is, as this whole world is a rainbow and we need to accept that, especially at this beautiful time of the year. You have shown us what it’s like to care about everyone with all your amazing skills that you keep GIVING to ALL of us and in this time of giving, I am especially thankful.

HAPPY, HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU, YOUR FAMILY AND EVERYONE out there!

First of all, it’s lovely to hear you have family coming to share Christmas. I wish for you that it’s a wonderful day for all.
Secondly, I love the little Joy quilt. Until I looked really closely, I though it had Ric Rac braid around the edges, but no, it was just a VERY neat job of binding with polka dots – just stunning. I really loved all the others as well, you have a great imagination.

I love receiving your blog posts to see and enjoy your free motion quilting designs! I do have a question though, are all your books based on free motion quilting on your home sewing machine or in my case, an HQ Sweet Sixteen (sitdown)? I am new to quilting and free motion quilting and I am always on the lookout for instructional books…….thank you! Margie Terry
