Good Morning, Quilters!
I am taking some time off from blogging to care for my Mom.
While you will not receive any emails from me, The Inbox Jaunt will still be “open”. All of the tutorials and posts will be available. Look for us to return in early September.
Please keep Dorothy in your thoughts and prayers as you quilt. I know she will feel your warmth!
Lori

Hi,
There is no greater joy than being able to help ones parents! I helped my mom and dad for about 5 years. I was happy to do so! I hope your mom is ok and will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Lori, so nice you are taking time to care for your Mom. Do you have to be away from home to do so? I lost my Mom, also named Dorothy, last year. She was almost 98. Her illness and decline in the last few months was a difficult time and I wish I’d been there for her more.

I wish you well in carrying for your Mom. It’s always tough to go from the child being cared for to the child doing the caring no matter the age. I hope for peace of mind for your Mom and the rest of your family. Stay strong!
Mary VanDoodewaard
My apologies, I had not noticed Karen was correcting her own post.
Karen L.
That should be “caring for your Mom” as I am sure you knew. And by the way, what a lovely photo of your beautiful Mom. Do the best you can for her. You will never regret that!
Lori Kennedy
Thank you Karen! I knew what you meant–darn autocorrect!
Sandy
No, “to care for my mom” is correct? Really, you had to point out what you THOUGHT was a grammatical error?
Lori Kennedy
LOL Sandy! Karen L was correcting her own comment–not my post!
Mary VanDoodewaard
Please do not be so critical of someone who is going through a difficult time.
