There are so many! I love all the quotes mentioned so far, and no one delivers a line like Maggie Smith. One I also liked was Mrs Patmore speaking to Denker when trying to teach her how to make a broth – “I said to sweat the onions, but they fell down exhausted.” Thanks for the opportunity!

I’ve never watched Downton Abbey but I have bought a few of the fabrics to make a bag for my aunt, who is a big fan. Would love to make something else for her! As for quotes, one of my all time favorites is from Margaret Thatcher:
