Christmas at Rose Mille

December 14, 2012

Vintage Christmas Village Decorations

I recently discovered Rose Mille, a ShabbyChic/Vintage shop in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota (with a larger store just blocks away).  This pretty store is filled to overflowing with vintage craft and millinery supplies and sooo much more.  Now that I have discovered it, I am sure to find excuses to visit often…Right now, the store is all decked out for Christmas…

Rose Mille is known for their glass glitter, and they even have a Glitter Bar (more on that next time.)

They offer a monthly cachette-a hat box filled with seasonal supplies for your own creative inspirations…  (see the goodies in the December cachette here)

I couldn’t resist a few yards of these vintage Santa towels:

and I thought these glitter houses were particularly charming:

Real vintage bottle brushes…

and while this tree is lovely, it allows a sneak peek at the ribbon wall behind it!

Rose Mille is the kind of place that makes one smile on a cold and snowy winter day…

I promise, I’ll be back in January…with more photos…

If you can’t make it to Rose Mille in Stillwater, they are available online as well…www.rosemille.com

Oh, my — that store is all too enticing. I am glad they’re not nearby! I think I’d be spending a lot of time there finding irresistible items!

I’ve been there three times this month–really cool antiques, too!

I’ll have to make sure I stop there when I come to Stillwater after Christmas. Looks like a lot of time could be spent browsing in there.

Make sure you go to the one on Williams Street–it’s much bigger and they have a basement, too!
