Bittersweet…

I went back to the Farmers’ market today and found one of my favorite flowers for fall arrangements…bittersweet.

Bittersweet it is… pretty, yet reminding us that the cool winds of fall are already on their way…

If you see any bittersweet at your market, snap it up.  It is hard to find and it will last for years.  It’s surprising that it is so hard to come by — it is on the US Department of Agriculture’s list of National Invasive Species!   –-Again, bitter-sweet lovely, but invasive….
