Best of Doodle Lessons!

September 14, 2020
Good Morning, Quilters!

I have been unexpectedly called away on a family errand. (Non-Covid related)

Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.

I am currently planning to resume remote learning/teaching next week.

In the meantime, here are some refresher doodle lessons!

And be sure to continue to post YOUR work in our private Facebook group, Quilting with LKQ.

YOUR photos inspire others and inspire me!

Yours,

Lori

Enjoyed seeing you on Sewing with Nancy. I did order your book and cd. Love the way you take scary freemotion and turned it into easy, fun patterns.I own and operate a sewing machine business. I’m a trained tech and educator. Do you have rules on using your patterns to teach from. I think your method would help so many, who are very excited to learn how to freemotion Quilting or Thread painting. Thank you.

Prayers for you and your family for a good outcome. It was great to see you with the Great Wisconsin Quilt show. I had gone to your session last year at the Expo and you are so inspiring. Thanks for trying to take the fear out of free motion quilting. I need to get sample sandwiches made and doodle and practice practice.

Hi Lori, I’ve been following you for awhile. I’m a former teacher and librarian who knows that most of the time we don’t know the impact we have on others. I want to let you know the impact you have had on me! I am pretty new to quilting and fell in love with FMQ early on and have so enjoyed your books and quidance through your blog. I love your patterns and you are a wonderful teacher. So many people think teaching is easy, but I know better. It takes planning, time, and patience to be really good.
