Good Morning, Quilters!
While working on my pile of unfinished quilts, I came upon the Eagle above. I used it as a practice piece to test drive motifs for the Traditional Eagle Quilt below.
It didn’t have much quilting on it…
So I filled in the spaces with a wide variety of quilting including a little lettering.
In the end, I’m not sure which quilt I like better–Two very different styles, but the Graffiti Eagle keeps one looking longer!
Ruby sure likes it!
By the way, what’s with dogs, cats and quilts?!
So which quilt do YOU prefer? Graffiti Eagle or Traditional Eagle?
We’d LOVE to hear!
Mixing it up in Minnesota,
Lori
PS…Both of these quilts were stitched with Aurifil thread in the bobbin (great for lock stitching with slippery threads on top) and Sulky Rayon 40 wt on top–on my BERNINA 770QE (dream machine!).
