Jonathan, Gala, Honeycrisp, McIntosh, Cortland, Northern Spy, Crispin, Pink Lady, Granny Smith…What’s your favorite?
Then there’s pie, pancakes, pandowdy, crumble, crisp, dumplings, strudel, brown betty…Can you even chose a favorite?
At this time of year, an apple a day hardly seems sufficient!
I can’t wait to finish this little table runner…so it’s ready to host a bowl full of apples!
Are there any apple quilts in your basket?

I think your apples are the best kind! Thank you for the wonderful inspiration.

So cute. Love it.

Beautifully stitched apples. My favourite apple is Braeburn; they’re lovely and crisp. Autumn is the best don’t you think?

I love!! Perfect idea for cornerstones or large log cabin centers! Thank you for more inspiration, Amie

These apples are amazing, I love them!
I really like this month’s back-to-school blog header. I heard somewhere that some schools no longer teach cursive handwriting to students. That’s kind-of sad, a school time right of passage going by the way side. Oh well, progress happens.
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie

I also heard they aren’t teaching handwriting! I’m not sure if that’s progress. What will they do when they have to write a Thank you note? I maybe old fashioned but there’s nothing worse than a text message thank you!

Great idea for a table runner. I love Honeycrisps, myself.

One of my favorites, too!

The quilting is so pretty! My votes are for Northern Spy and Autumn Crisp as favorite apples, and apple crisp as favorite dessert!

I’ve never had a Northern Spy –though I included it in the list because I liked the name. Now I will have to try it–thanks!

I hope you can find it. I know it’s a northern apple–I’m in upstate New York and one farm grows them and I’ve gotten them in Canada. It’s also a late-season apple, ussualy picked in late October. But so good!

Beautiful work, as always. The apples look good enough to eat!
