I love this painting and the history behind Auguste Macke, incredible! Thank you for prompting me to see and read more. I plan to visit his work at the MOMA on my next NYC excursion.
I’m so happy to have stumbled on to your blog. I’ve never followed a blog before and what a fortuitous find. Your bits of quilting wisdom, clear fmq tutorials, and the wonderful bonus of great art are such fun. I enjoy reading more about each artist and other works of art as a result of your presentations. Learning opens our world. Thanks.
Nice painting! Fun to see what you find.
Does everyone know that you can watch free episodes of The Quilt Show this weekend! I have a marathon Quilt Show going on the laptop and FMQuilting away! Lori I think you would be a great guest on this show!
Enjoy this bit of sophistication and art that you bring to your blog have really been enjoying it since finding your site about the end of Feb. My husband is German citizen and his grandfather was a painter. I saw his work in a church while visiting one year and it was beautiful so this article your article was very interesting to read. Thanks for bring a bit of culture and diversity to your site.

The things I do are: knit, crochet, make jewelry, sew, quilt, photography, paint and draw and each contributes to my creative skills.
