For a fellow Irishwoman …
Go n-éirí an bóthar leat
Go raibh an ghaoth go brách ag do chúl
Go lonraí an ghrian go te ar d’aghaidh
Go dtite an bháisteach go mín ar do pháirceanna
Agus go mbuailimid le chéile arís,
Go gcoinní Dia i mbos A láimhe thú.
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
And my personal favourite “May you be half an hour in heaven before the devil knows your dead”.

And the rest o the day to yee!
35 percent Irish me self, but the hubby is 100 percent, so we do party, but not in the streets!

Enjoying your posts, the link in the email went to Japanese, but google translator worked and I could view your post!

How cute! I expected Shamrocks, but not the owl! We’re not Irish, but as my dad’s birthday was on St. Patrick’s Day, we were “honoraries”. I’ve always loved the shape of Shamrocks (similar to the Fleur de Lis) & spent many hours in my childhood looking for the elusive 4-leaf clover! I’m looking forward to some Corned Beef & Soda Bread — yum! Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all.

Forgot to say I am 100% Irish and proud of it.

Top of the mornin’ to ya! Those are totally adorable as always, Lori! I am not Irish, but my kids are part, so I can’t wait to use your motifs! THANK YOU for sharing those. HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!
