Halloween Quilting Projects

Good Morning, Quilters!

Wow!  I am so excited to be back here at The Inbox Jaunt!  The amazing number of comments this week demonstrate clearly that we are a passionate group of quilters!  YOUR notes about why YOU quilt, YOUR quilt “angels”, process vs product have been heartfelt and insightful!  Clearly, the quilt process is our primary reason for quilting!

(Please note that while I don’t often respond to comments(my apologies!) I read all of your comments carefully!)  I LOVE when you respond to each other–and I LOVE the idea of a retreat for Inbox Jaunters…..need to think about how we could achieve that!!????  Wouldn’t that be coo?l!!!

Pumpkin Log Cabin Quilit

OCTOBER IS ALMOST HERE!

I LOVE Autumn and I LOVE Halloween!

And I LOVE Log Cabin Quilts.

Pumpkin Log Cabin Quilit

First, I made the pillows, then with the leftover scraps, I made the little pumpkins. (My friends, Donna and Karen call this food-chain quilting.)

I just improvised– so there’s no pattern–one of the reasons I LOVE stitching the Log Cabin!

Doesn’t Ruby look young?

THROWBACKS

I made these projects five years ago… then gave them away.  (Five daughters will do that to you!)

Thinking I might make myself a new set!

What about YOU?

Can YOU believe September is on it’s way out?

Do YOU have any favorite seasonal quilts?

We’d LOVE to hear!

Also…exciting news for all of us…tomorrow!!!!

Signed,

Lincoln-Log, Lori
