Good Morning, Quilters!
I’m off on a quilting jaunt–to International Quilt Market in St. Louis, Missouri!
I will be signing books, demonstrating machine quilting and recording a short video clip.
In addition, I will be scoping out all the news we can use! (including the scoop on Titanium needles…)
Now you didn’t think I would leave YOU without homework, did YOU?
I think it would be a great time to do a throwback doodle exercise: The Scallop
Hope YOU have a quilting jaunt coming soon!
It’s always inspiring to see what others are creating!

I’m off to the Malvern quilt show in the UK this weekend – not as big as the one you’re attending but it serves its purpose. Looking forward to the quilts and the stalls.

Love the mini quilt in the background. Please provide a complete picture of the quilt as well as a tutorial (?) on making it. Would love a tutorial on cross hatching.

Talk to Bob Purcell (Dr. Bob of Superior Threads) about the Titanium needles – he does massive research before any of his products are available, and customer service is superior, too. My change to titanium after attending Thread School has made ALL the difference in my quilting (well, that and using better quality thread…..)

I will!

I live in Canada and purchase both thread and titanium needles direct from Superior in the States. I am also a member of their thread of the month clubs. Great supplies and service. Well worth having conversation with Bob Purcell, extremely knowledgeable in all areas of thread and needles.
