Rose: Paper Piecing PatternGood Morning, Quilters!

Thank you to all those who left comments yesterday.  Seems everyone feels the same way–we must enjoy gorgeous weather whenever we can!

Today, we are continuing with the July theme:  Roses.  We started with Nora’s Rose:  A Free Motion Quilt Pattern…and Nora’s Rose a vase quilt.  Then we enjoyed a Monet painting with a rose garden in the background and of course, Silent Sunday’s Rose.

Lyndale Rose Garden

This week, our friend Peggy took the foreground rose from the Silent Sunday photo above and created a lovely, free Paper-Pieced Rose Pattern.  The finished size is 24 inches square.

Thank you, Peggy!  It’s gorgeous!

I know I say this every time…but I think this is my favorite!  Or maybe it’s The Heron or The Fireworks or The Allium or The Hydrangeas or At The Window or The Seamstress….

Wish there were 24 hours worth of ENERGY in each day!

Happy Stitching or Gardening,

Lori
