One of the great things about going on a quilt retreat, is seeing how a single pattern is interpreted by different quilters. Under the guidance of Rhonda Rannow-quilt instructor, extraordinaire, many of the quilters worked on The Radiant Star Quilt from Eleanor Burns. (See the book HERE) The quilt above was created by Rhonda. Isn’t it gorgeous?
I also love this modern interpretation on a white background.
Three more–including a Christmas version of The Radiant Star Quilt.
Love the dotted fabrics and the black background:
I think this is what we all love about quilting: one quilt and endless possibilities!
I hope you have enjoyed the Trunk Show from our quilt retreat. There’s still more to come…

Loved it! I have always wanted to make one of these. Do you know if there is any difference between the 1st version of this book and the newest one?

Several people in the class had the old version. I believe that the new version has added a small star pattern. Also, someone in the group had a hinged mirror that was very useful when auditioning fabrics. I think you could improvise without purchasing one, but it was very helpful.

That is exactly why!! Beautiful quilts! I was at a workshop this past Saturday. It was really fun seeing all the different fabric selections and how that translated into the workshop block.
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie
