Good Morning, Quilters!
I am still unpacking from a week in the beautiful Smoky Mountains at the John C. Campbell Folk School. As I unpack, and sort through the photos-I have a chance to reflect on the inspiring week.
We were surrounded by the natural beauty of North Carolina and the Appalachian Mountains.
Our classroom was spacious and filled with natural light.
We worked hard…
And learned a lot!
(I learned the real meaning of “Bless your heart…”)
And more tips that I’ll be sharing in the coming weeks.
We stitched a lot!
And found that with no previous experience-you CAN learn to FMQ in FIVE DAYS!!!!
It just takes focus and determination.
It wasn’t all work…
There was plenty of time for fun and games!
The BEST thing of all….
The people you meet!
Inspired,
Lori
